My name is Dylan.
This week’s poem is by Shel Silverstein and it is called UNFAIR:
They don’t allow pets in this apartment.
That’s not decent, that’s not fair.
They don’t allow pets in this apartment.
They don’t listen, they don’t care.
I told them he’s quiet and never does bark.
I told them he would do all his stuff in the park.
I told them he’s cuddly and friendly and yet-
They don’t allow pets.

Dylan,
It is cool and reminds me of when I was a kid–but I only dragged dogs home!
I like your choice of poem from Shel Silverstein. I have read all of his books and especially like his short poems. But what I like most is your pet–I think I recognize him.
