Social Studies
For Social Studies this year we will be focusing in on the history of the United States.
Our theme for the year is called “Becoming America”. Our study is divided into 7 units: Our Government, Three Worlds Meet, Colonization and Settlement, Life in Colonial America, Road to Revolution, The American Revolution and A New Nation.
Spelling
Every Monday, the kids will get a spelling packet that contains the week’s spelling words. They will be tested on the first ten words on the list and another ten which I give them for a total of twenty words. The packets are due completed the following Thursday.
